BETH HASLAM

Fat Dogs series, 4

When Beth, her beloved dog, Sam, and grumpy husband, Jack, return to France, disaster strikes. Then, as they battle to restore order to their home, French authorities visit with shocking news.

Obliged to sit examinations in French, coping with furred and feathered babies, and wrangling French tradesmen, there’s no let up in this action-packed instalment of the Haslams’ adventures.

This is the hilarious fourth instalment in the Fat Dogs series.

Who is Beth Haslam?

Beth Haslam was brought up on a shooting estate in Wales. Deep in the countryside, her childhood was spent either on horseback, helping the gamekeepers raise pheasants, or out sailing. After a serious car crash in 1991, Beth she set up her own consultancy business.

As semi-retirement beckoned, Beth and her husband, Jack, decided to buy a second home in France. This became a life-changing event where computers and mobile phones swapped places with understanding the foibles of the French and tackling the language.

Beth is now occupied as never before. Raising and saving animals, writing, and embracing everything that rural France has to offer; she’s loving it!

Victoria Twead hides behind her ‘old fool’ soubriquet when in fact she is the most professional ebook publisher you could wish for. Most of my 25 or so books have been first published conventionally, but now we must embrace the e-reader, and the best way to do it is through Victoria and Ant Press.
